Cozy Musical Washington, DC Lifestyle Engagement Session

Anna Kate and Ashford are getting married in Vermont but live in my hometown of Washington, DC! My decision to live in DC the two months before our wedding made for the perfect intersection with this relaxing and beautiful time with the cutest couple! AK is from Vermont and Ashford is from Kentucky. They met in Barcelona while studying abroad in college and fell in love over their shared love of music. So freaking dreamy!!!

As I usually tell clients, if you are the types that love music, love to skii, love to sit and drink coffee or cocktails or love to eat McDonalds (s/o Corey and Derek) … we will capture that in your engagement session and it will feel so very comfy and cozy and most importantly accurately capture who you are.

AK and Ashford did this perfectly. They welcomed me into their home for one of the more relaxing and ideal Saturday mornings I had had in a good while (this was a month before my own wedding and I needed this time). I sat and soaked in their beautiful voices , swooned over their genuine and radiating friendship and love and got to photograph it all. So beautiful. We took a walk by the Potomac and then shared tacos and stories about life.
