Annie + Alec

Some of the easiest people to be around, Alec and Annie provided the most relaxed, wonderful and hilarious afternoon in Georgetown. 

As engagement season is characterized by waiting, preparation and hope, it was fitting to shoot and edit their engagement session during Christmas season. Christmas season creates a time for me, as does engagement season for couples, to think about the quiet, the not yet, the presence, the anticipation and the hope of what is to come. However, Christmas season is a time filled with the great hope and ache for a fulfillment of our need in Christ.

Thankful that the Lord is present in the waiting and that he proves himself true in the fulfillment of promises either here through pictures of heaven, like weddings, or in the promise of his presence with us, or, ultimately in the promise of Christ to come.
