Addie + Dakota
What do I love most about a wedding day? The details and rich story that each couple so generously allows me to enter into. Always.
It's really because as humans, we're drawn to a good story. We're drawn to the details that make up a good story, the love, the good stuff, the really hard stuff, the tears, the laughter... the eventual dancing.
This is why I love my job more than anything. As a photographer, I'm invited into a day to whole heartedly explore and capture all of the above through beautiful photos.
What amazes me is that my job ultimately pushes me to love more deeply, seek to be more present and become more curious in every aspect of my life.
For you, I hope reading about these stories and viewing the photos help you to move towards more love, presence and curiosity and ultimately moves you towards more wholeness.
This is why I absolutely loved Addie and Dakota's wedding day. Set on Addie's family's Pennsylvania farm held in the family for generations on their parent's anniversary. Surrounded by friends from all over the country, some who had walked with them through all of life, some from Hawaii, Dakota's home, some from college, many from childhood, all here to celebrate Addie and Dakota. Throughout their day, memories were recounted, prayers were prayed for Addie and Dakota's story to continue in the faithfulness of the Lord and promises were made to continue to walk alongside of these two. Take a look at this beautiful day.
